Enveloped

* I wrote this overlooking a waterfall, in Cumbria (the Lake District), England. My sister and I were on a 7 hour hike and stopped for some quiet time. In that moment, surrounded by beauty, God just reminded me of His love, His acceptance, and the fact that I can stop fighting for it.*

The rain stitches me into Your canopy of love
The sound of water falling cradles my heart
I am encased in a sacred space
You are here- You embrace me and I am home.
Eternal moments erase time.
Grounded moments erase space.
I don't know where I am, but I am not lost.
I am in Your heart. I belong there.

No need to fight for worthiness-
I will never be worthy, but I am part of You-
the pattern imagined before the world includes me...
organically.
Nature and memory, gladness and song enclose me in Your shadow.
The goodness of the One I meet- in the quiet of Your heart.
This moment is the place I have been searching for.
